Learned senior counsel for the petitioners submits that the similar issue was there in CWP No.15915 of 2020 titled as Social Service Welfare Society and others vs State of Punjab and the said petition was disposed of vide Order dated 06.10.2020. Learned senior counsel also submits that the petitioners would be satisfied, in case, the present petition is disposed of in the same terms as in CWP No.15915 of 2020.

The concluding para of said Order dated 06.10.2020 is reproduced as under :-

"Accordingly, without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to petitioners-societies to approach PIRA within a period of one month from today along with an application for stay, if so advised, against the impugned orders of termination. The PIRA-authorities will disposed of the claim of the petitioners-societies within a period of three months thereafter by affording an opportunity of hearing to petitioners (actual or virtual).

Till the time petitioners move an appropriate application before PIRA, i.e one month from today, the operation of the impugned orders/letters shall remain stayed."

Notice on behalf of respondent-State has been accepted by Mr. Pankaj Gupta, Additional Advocate General, Punjab. Order dated 06.10.2020 has not been disputed by learned counsel for the respondent-State.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to petitioners to approach Punjab Infrastructure Regulatory Authority (here-in-after called as `PIRA') within a period of one week from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order along with an application for stay, if so advised, against the impugned order dated 13.04.2018 (Annexure P-12) and Order dated 13.08.2020 (Annexure P-16). The authorities concerned will decide the claim of the petitioners within a period of one week thereafter after affording an opportunity of hearing to them before passing of the order. It is also directed that till any decision is taken, the operation of impugned orders shall remain stayed.
