Judgment
This application seeks review of order of this Tribunal dated 25.02.2022 in O.A. No. 34(THC) /2014, Digvijay Singh v. State of Rajasthan & Ors. By the said order this Tribunal dealt with the remedial action against violation of environmental norms by certain industries and Jodhpur, Pali and Balotra local bodies. The Tribunal found the said local bodies contributing to the pollution for which their liability was fixed.
Similar review application filed by Nagar Nigam, Jodhpur (North/South) came up for hearing on 20.05.2022 and was dismissed after referring to the observations in the order. Operative part of the order is reproduced below:-

Though the review applicant has claimed certain subsequent steps, it has not disputed the past violations for which the compensation was assessed. Plea of lack of resources cannot be the justification. Even now, it is not the claim of the applicant that there is total compliance in preventing discharge of untreated sewage.
We are satisfied that the present review application is merely an attempt to seek rehearing which is not permissible.”
Present application is identical and in view of the order passed in the case of Nagar Nigam, Jodhpur, this review application has to meet same fate. Dismissed.
I.A. No. 131/2022 also stands disposed of.
