Learned counsel for the petitioners has filed the instant writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to extend the benefit of SRO 193 dated 24.04.2018(7th Pay Commission) in the revised pay scale of Class-IV w.e.f 01-01-2016 in favour of the petitioners on the analogy of respondent No.5, who is similarly situated like the petitioners.
When this case was taken up, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner would feel satisfied if this petition is disposed of at this stage by treating it as representation and respondents are directed to consider the claim of the petitioners on the basis of the averments made in the writ petition and having regard to the benefit extended to the similarly situated person(s).
His statement is taken on record.
Accordingly, this petition is disposed of by treating it as a representation and respondents are directed to consider the claim of the petitioners in terms of the averments made in the writ petition, annexures appended thereto and having regard to the benefit extended to similarly situated person i.e. respondent No. 5 in terms of SRO 193 dated 24.04.2018(7th Pay Commission), of course, under rules within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order along with complete set of paper book.
