Heard Mr. H. Maipaksana, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

Issue notice, returnable within four weeks.

Mr. Rustam, learned counsel assisting Mr. Kh. Tarunkumar, learned senior counsel entered appearance and accepts notice on behalf of respondent No. 1 and Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA entered appearance and accepts notice on behalf of the respondents No. 2, 3 and 4, hence no formal notice is called for.

In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuing a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for regularisation/ absorption of his service to the post of Peon of the Family Court, Thoubal.

Mr. Kh. Tarunkumar, learned senior counsel representing the respondent No. 1 submitted that the petitioner is not entitled to get regularisation in terms of the settled law laid down by the Hon’ble Apex Court. In this regard, the respondents seeks sometime for filing affidavit-in-opposition.

As prayed for, list this case again on 12-03-2026.
