Chander Parshad vs State (Govt. Of NCT Of Delhi) And Ors

The applicant pleads that the instant Original Application pertains to grant of compassionate appointment. The applicant's father, who worked with Janta Senior Secondary School under the Government of NCT of Delhi, expired on 28.01.2007 while in service. Thereafter the applicant had made representation to the respondents on 04.03.2010 for considering him for appointment on compassionate groundand thereafter he had sent many more representations also to the respondents to the same effect but to no avail. He also made representation to the Office of Hon'ble Chief Minister, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, who had also written a letter to the Director of Education on 28.11.2011 in this connection. However, there had been no response yet to these representations. This is the grievance of the applicant in the instant Original Application.

The OA was filed on 19.02.2017, wherein certain deficiencies were noticed which were rectified and moved the present OA on 13.02.2018.

One Misc. Application No.868/2018 for condonation of delay for 72 days in filling of the amended OA has been filed. Delay is condoned and the same stands allowed.

The OA is disposed off at the admission stage itself, without going into the merits of the case, with a direction to the respondents to pass reasoned and speaking order on the representation filed by the applicant within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. No order as to costs.
