Judgment
Antony dominic, J.—In the Palakkad District Kalolsavam, Petitioner participated in the item Kerala Natanam. The team was awarded 3rd prize with A Grade. Aggrieved by the prize given, they filed an appeal and approached this Court complaining that the appeal was kept without any orders.
Learned Government Pleader has obtained instructions in the matter. It is stated that the appeal filed by the Petitioner was heard on 13/1/2011, rejected by order dated 14/1/2011 and the result was communicated to the Petitioner on 15/1/2011. It is also stated that the first and second prize winners had secured
255 and 246 marks respectively where as the Petitioner''s team secured only 233 marks.
From the above, therefore, it is obvious that now the appeal has been decided and that there is vide disparity in the marks secured by the Petitioner and the first and second prize winners, who are also not impleaded in the writ petition. In the result, I do not find any merit in the writ petition.
Writ petition is dismissed.
