Judgment
Heard Sri P. Rama Sharana Sharma, learned Counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-III and Sri K.Bala Krishna, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents and perused the material on record. With their consent, this writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is questioning the action of the respondents in not sanctioning the family pension as per Rule 50 of Telangana Revised Pension Rules, 1980 as well the G.O.Ms.No.315, dated 07.10.2010 as illegal and arbitrary.
After filing of the writ petition, the petitioner submitted representation to the respondent No.3 along with relevant documents in response to the letter addressed to the petitioner by the respondent No.3 vide Letter No.6771/Acct/S5/2020, dated 01.12.2025 with regard to discrepancy in name of the petitioner. In view of the same, the learned counsel for the petitioner requested to direct the respondent No.3 to pass appropriate orders basing on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 29.07.2026 which was received by the respondent No.3 on 30.07.2026.
On the other hand, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-III submits that the respondent authorities will pass appropriate orders basing on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 29.07.2026 in accordance with law in due course and requested to pass appropriate orders.
In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on both sides, without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No.3 to take into account of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 29.07.2026 for granting family pension to the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law and communicate the same to the petitioner within eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the Writ Petition shall stand closed.
