Judgment
Per: Mr. Anindo Majumdar, Administrative Member.
This matter is taken up by the Single Bench for disposal in accordance with the order of the Hon’ble Chairman, CAT dated 10/09/2021 issued under Sub-Section (6) of Section 5 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, and since no complicated question of law is involved.
Ld. Counsel for the Respondent no. 1 to 5 Mr. B.B. Chatterjee is present and heard. None appears on behalf of the Respondent no. 6. None appears for the applicant.
Ld. Counsel for the respondents’ draws attention to the order of this Tribunal dated 28.08.2026, where Registry was directed to send notice to the applicant to be represented otherwise appropriate orders will be passed on the next date of hearing.
From the records, it is seen that a notice was issued to the applicant dated 09.09.2026 to be represented in this matter.
However, today, despite the notice, neither the applicant has represented, nor his Counsel.
It seems that the applicant has lost interest in pursuing the matter.
Accordingly, the Original Application is dismissed under Rule 15(1) of CAT Procedure Rules, 1987. All pending applications are also dismissed without any order as to costs.
Interim order stands vacated.
