Judgment
Heard Mr. Anjani Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. Suraj Verma, learned A.P.P. for the State.
The petitioners are accused in connection with Tonto P.S. Case No. 18 of 2019, corresponding to G. R. No. 357 of 2019 (S. T. No. 285 of 2019.
It has been alleged that about a year back the husband of the informant was assaulted for practicing witchcraft by the accused persons and due to
fear the informant and her husband started living at Jamshedpur. It was alleged that on 01.07.2019 the informant and her husband came to the village
for attending Saradh Ceremony and in the evening the accused persons came and assaulted the husband of the informant and his dead body was
recovered from a well.
The statement of the informant was recorded under Section 164 CrPC in which she has alleged that the accused persons had assaulted her husband
and taken him away and subsequently her husband was thrown into the well. The allegations are general and omnibus in nature and similarly situated
co-accused persons namely Haricharan Doraiburu @ Hari has already been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No. 10602 of 2019.
Regard being had to the above, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten
Thousand only) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge - IV, Chaibasa in connection
with Tonto P.S. Case No. 18 of 2019, corresponding to G. R. No. 357 of 2019 (S. T. No. 285 of 2019).
