Heard Mr. S. Chakraborty, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Mr. Ratan Datta, learned PP appearing for the State-respondent. This is an application filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for granting anticipatory bail to the accused-petitioner, namely, Sri Bhajan Chandra Shil against whom FIR was lodged under Sections 420/468/471/506/34 IPC, and it is stated that after registration of Bishalgarh PS case No. 067 of 2021 arising out of Misc. 05 of 2021, the police had been trying to arrest him. His house has been raided on several occasions, and for this reason, the accused- petitioner is apprehending his arrest by the investigating agency. I have seen the petition as well as the allegations levelled against the accused-petitioner.

It is alleged that some documents had been forged by the accused- petitioner.

In my opinion, the petitioner may be granted anticipatory bail on condition that he is to appear before the I.O. tomorrow at 11.00 am alongwith all the documents, he has been possessing with him. The I.O. is at liberty to interrogate the accused-petitioner to unearth the truth. Further, the I.O. shall direct the accused-petitioner to appear before him as per his convenience, and in that case, the accused-petitioner shall co-operate with the I.O. and shall reveal the truth.

Ultimately, it is directed that in the event of arrest, the petitioner, namely, Sri Bhajan Chandra Shil, shall be released on bail on furnishing a bond of Rs. 50,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the investigating officer.

With the above direction, the instant application stands allowed and disposed.
