R.S. Jha, Judge

1.

Heard Shri V.P. Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner on the question of admission and interim relief. The petitioner has filed this petition being aggrieved by the fact that the respondent authorities have not paid the ex-Gracia amount of Rs. 25,000/- on receiving a grievous injury, wherein his hand has been fractured, in accordance with the circular of the State Government dated 02.02.2011.

2.

It is submitted that the petitioner has filed representations before the authorities on 26.07.2012 and 25.08.2012 but no decision thereon has been taken till date and therefore the authorities be directed to make the payment.

3.

I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner at length and am of the considered opinion that the petitioner has filed the present petition within a month or two, without awaiting or giving time to the authorities to decide the representations.

4.

In the circumstances, I do not find any reason to issue a direction as there is nothing on record to indicate that the authorities are either not deciding or taking steps to process the representation. It goes without saying that the authorities shall consider and decide the representation in accordance with law.

5.

In view of the aforesaid, the petition filed by the petitioner is disposed of, as no directions are necessary at this stage. C.C. as per rules.
