The petitioners are seeking release of the financial assistance of the full installments i.e 1st to 4th of Rs.53,76,690/- (Fifty Three Lakh Seventy Six Thousand Six Hundred Ninety) and flight tickets charges of Rs.41,239/- (Forty One Thousand Two Hundred Thirty Nine) and visa fee of Rs.57,520/-(Fifty Seven Thousand Five Hundred Twenty) and the total amount of Rs. 54,75,449/- (Fifty Four Lakh Seventy Five Thousand Four Hundred Forty Nine) under the “Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena” Scheme.

The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the respondents have not rejected or cancelled the petitioners’ benefit under the Scheme. He further submits that the amount pending will be released subject to the availability of necessary funds.

Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to verify and release the amounts sanctioned to the petitioners under the said scheme within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
