Judgment
Heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned counsel for AERA. Also heard Mr. Buddy Ranganadhan, learned counsel for FIA who has
pressed M.A. No. 493 seeking impleadment of FIA in this appeal. If learned counsel for AERA has supported the application for impleadment,
appellant, if so advised, may file its response to the M.A. within three weeks. Rejoinder, if required, may be filed within one week thereafter.
M A. No. 372 of 2021 contains a simple prayer to exempt filing of certified copies of certain documents. That M.A. is allowed and disposed of.
Today the matter has been listed mainly for hearing M.A. No. 473 of 2021 in which appellant has pressed for interim relief. A reply has already
been filed on behalf of AERA. Soft copy of rejoinder has already been filed. As prayed, hardcopy of the rejoinder may be filed within one week.
Although application for impeladment of FIA will be considered on the next date, in order to avoid possible delay, appellant is directed to furnish a
copy of Memorandum of Appeal and the pending application on learned counsel for FIA within two weeks. It will be open for FIA to file its
response which may be subject to order that may be passed on the application for impleadment.
Post the matter under the same head on 9.3.2022.
