Heard Mr. P.Yobin, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Issue notice.
Mr. S.Sen, learned counsel is present and accepts notice on behalf of the respondents No. 1, 2 & 3, so no further notice is called for on these respondents.
Notice to issue to respondent No. 4.
The writ petitioner is a student currently studying in the 5th Semester LLB Course at Shillong Law College (respondent No. 4), and is here with a prayer to direct the respondents, especially respondent No. 4, to consider the application of the petitioner to condone the shortage of attendance which was caused due to illness.
Mr. S.Sen, learned counsel submits that as this part of the issue has to be addressed from the affiliated College itself, the University at this stage will have no submissions to make.
Accordingly, Mr. P.Yobin, learned counsel for the petitioner to effect personal notice on the respondent No. 4 by today itself, as the examinations are due from 06-12-2024.
List this matter tomorrow i.e. 03-12-2024 for further orders.
