The writ petition is filed with the following prayers: (a) That the writ of mandamus may kindly be passed in favour of the petitioner directing the respondents to open, consider and finalize the tenders filed before them in accordance with law.
(b) That the respondents may kindly be directed to withdraw the illegal extension given to respondent No. 4.
It is submitted that the tender was not pursued to its logical end and the work has not been awarded till date. In other words, the tender itself has been cancelled. If that be so, the petitioner prays that the earnest money deposited by him may be returned to the petitioner. There will be a direction to the second respondent to examine the matter and take appropriate action in terms of the submission as above and in case the submission is found to be correct, the money shall be returned to the petitioner. The needful shall be done within a period of one month from the date of production of a copy of this judgment before the second respondent by the petitioner.
The writ petition is disposed of, so also the pending applications, if any.
