Notice. Mr. R.S. Verma, Additional Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents.
With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage.
The case of the petitioner is that he is posted as Trained Graduate Teacher (‘TGT’) (Non-Medical) at GMS Ghagtya u/c GSSS Sudhar in Tehsil Padhar, District Mandi.
It is stated to be ‘difficult sub cadre’ area. The grievance of the petitioner is that his representation (Annexure P-3), seeking transfer from ‘difficult sub cadre’ area to some ‘soft area’ of his choice, has not been yielded any result.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be content, in case, respondent No.2/competent authority is directed to consider and decide the said representation of the petitioner, in a time-bound manner
In view of above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from today, by passing a reasoned order, which shall be communicated to the petitioner.
Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
