Petitioner has sought for extension of parole. The case made out by the petitioner for extension of parole is that the petitioner is required to undergo operation and the date has not been fixed due to variation in his medical parameters.
It is submitted that the medical reports produced at Annexures-K and M are evidence of the requirement of immediate operation.
Learned Additional Government Advocate upon instructions submits that parole may be extended while making it clear that the petitioner is to have the date fixed and operation completed within the parole that is sought to be extended.
Taking note of the same, the petition is allowed. The parole granted earlier is extended for a further period of 3 weeks from 16.07.2025. It is made clear that there will not be any further orders for extension of parole and the petitioner is to have his operation scheduled within the time fixed. Respondent No.2 shall stipulate the condition as may be necessary to ensure the return of detenue. The presence of the petitioner may not be insisted as a condition to be imposed by the Chief Superintendent while noticing his medical ailment.
Accordingly, petition is disposed off.
