In the application, the appellant has prayed for the following relief:

“In view of abovesaid facts and circumstances, it is prayed most respectfully to this Hon’ble Court to modify the judgment and order dated

08/8/2018 in terms of as follows:

Direct the respondent to allow the appellant to inspect file of his complaint filed before the  respondent with a liberty to take copies of the

documents and orders therein,

Direct the appellant authority of the Enforcement Directorate to decide the appeal of the appellant within six months of time when the appellant

prefers his appeal against the impugned order dated 13/9/2017 of the respondent, And pass any other order as deem fit and proper to this Hon’ble

Court.â€​

According to the appellant, this application is necessitated, as such a prayer even though made in the writ petition, could not be pressed when the

writ petition was disposed of on August 08, 2018. He has drawn our attention to page 59 of the paper book to contend that he has made an application

dated July 04, 2017 requesting the authority to allow him to inspect the file mentioned therein, but no order has been passed.

He submits that an appeal shall be meaningful, if he is allowed to inspect the record. We say nothing on the said request made by the petitioner

except that the petitioner shall file his request dated July 04, 2017 with the authority concerned along with a copy of this order within ten days from

today. The authority shallconsider the request made by the appellant in terms of the instructions within one week thereafter and intimate the decision

to the petitioner.

The appellant shall file the appeal as directed by this Court on August 08, 2018 within one month from the date of receipt of intimation from the

authority concerned. The aforesaid is agreeable to Mr. Amit Mahajan. Accordingly, the application is disposed of.
