Judgment
Arindam Lodh, J
Heard Mr. A. Bhaumik, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. Also heard Mrs. Riya Chakraborty, learned counsel appearing for the State-respondents.
When the matter came up before this Court, Mrs. Chakraborty, learned counsel appearing for the State-respondents has placed a Memo dated 17.08.2024 issued by the Additional Secretary to the Government of Tripura wherefrom it is revealed that the reliefs sought for in the writ petition have been provided to the petitioners. The said memo dated 17.08.2024 is reproduced hereunder:-

MEMO
In compliance with the judgement & order dated 31-07-2023 in connection with the Review Pet. No.21 & 24 of 2023 of the Hon'ble High Court of Tripura, the teachers who entered into service having acquired B.Ed. degree prior to the date of appointment even after 01-01-2009 shall be granted one increment in terms of Rule 13(1)(ii) of ROP,2009 up to the publication of Recruitment Rules, 2014 i.e 24-11-2014 and in service teachers who underwent training up-to 31-12-2008 shall be entitled one increment in terms of Rule 13(1)(v) of ROP, 2009 (up- to publication of ROP, 2009 i.e 05-05-2009 who had completed the full training course and appeared in the end of term examination and passed the examination) thereafter they will get Lump-sum incentive grant up-to 24-11-2014.
However, the fixation of pay of the applicants would be made notionally till the date of receipt of these petitions by this Directorate, after which they would be entitled to get arrears of salary.
This is issued as per Order dated 13-08-2024 of the Hon'ble High Court of Tripura.
