Adverting to the grievance of the petitioner, with regard to computing his service period from 2013 to 2026 in the regular establishment for the purpose of grant of pensionary benefits, it is submitted that the petitioner was eligible for appointment in the year 2013; however, due to an error in the date of birth, his services were regularized only in the year 2017. The petitioner seeks permission to approach the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer, Darbhanga, Department of Health, Government of Bihar, for redressal of his grievance.

In view of the afnorenoted submissions, the present writ petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to approach before the concerned authority by filing an appropriate application along with necessary documents. In case such an application is filed, the same shall be considered and disposed off, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
