Mr. Ajay Sharma, learned counsel for the applicant stated that the applicant is aggrieved of Notification No. JKSSB-COE0EXAM(UT)/36/2024-03 (7593631) dated 11.10.2025, whereby admit cards have been released for the Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET) scheduled to commence from 24.09.2025 for the post of Constable (Armed/IRP/SDRF/Executive) advertised vide notification No. 01 of 2024, Item Nos. 01, 02, 05 & 06, without considering her request for deferment on account of her advanced pregnancy.
Learned counsel further stated that the applicant would be satisfied, at this stage, if a direction is issued to respondents to treat a copy of this O.A. as representation of the applicant and decide the same within a time frame.
Mr. Rajesh Thapa, learned A.A.G. appearing on behalf of the respondents vehemently opposed the prayer made by the learned counsel for the applicant and prayed for sometime to file counter affidavit
Having heard the learned counsels for the parties, we are of the considered view that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the instant O.A. pending and the same can be disposed of in the manner as prayed for by the learned counsel for the applicant.
Accordingly, the O.A. is disposed of, at the admission stage itself, without entering into the merits of the case, with a direction to respondents to treat a copy of this O.A. as representation of the applicant, decide the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order and communicate the decision so taken to the applicant. Let this exercise be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
With the above direction, the O.A. stands disposed of.
No order as to costs.
