Judgment
Pending decision in the appeal, the instant application is filed by the applicants-respondents 4 and 5, seeking appropriate directions against the official respondents, not to make any promotion among General Line Teachers to the post of Masters in the Department.
This Court in terms of order passed on 20.02.2015, while issuing notice in the appeal, had in the meantime, maintained the seniority of General Line Teachers by directing that the same shall not be disturbed.
Mr. Z. A. Shah, learned senior counsel appearing for the applicants-respondents 4 and 5, submits that in the event, the official respondents make promotions on the seniority of the General Line Teachers, the claim of the respondents 4 and 5 will become infructuous.
Before proceeding further, we deem it property to issue notice to the non-applicants/respondents 1 to 3. Notice to respondents 1 to 3, waived by Mr. Sajad Ashraf, learned GA, appearing vice Ms. Asifa Padroo, learned GA. He shall file response within one week.
