The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of direction upon the concerned respondents to make speedy payment of relief/compensation amount to the petitioner after examining her claim in the light of resolution no.186, dated 6th March, 2023 as well as the order dated 13th April, 2023 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No.6456 of 2022.

Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner had earlier preferred a writ petition being W.P.(C) No.6456 of 2022 for issuance of direction upon the concerned respondent authorities to pay relief amount/compensation to the petitioner on account of accidental death of her son namely, Gaurang Kumar, who had died due to drowning on 11th March, 2021 in Thakurbandh Pond, Ramdih More, Ranipokhar Panchayat, P.S.-Harla, District-Bokaro. The said writ petition was disposed of vide order dated 13th April, 2023 with liberty to the petitioner to prefer a fresh representation on the said issue before the Deputy Commissioner, Bokaro, who in turn was directed to the respondent no.3 to take appropriate informed decision after providing due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner/her representative within four weeks from the date of filing of the representation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner while responding the query of the Court, submits that the representation filed by the petitioner pursuant to the order dated 13th April, 2023 passed in W.P.(C) No.6456 of 2022 is still pending with the respondent no.3-Deputy Commissioner, Bokaro in which opinion of the Department of Disaster Management, Government of Jharkhand has been sought.

Considering that this Court vide order dated 13th April, 2023 has already disposed of similar writ petition i.e. W.P.(C) No.6456 of 2022 preferred by the petitioner, the present writ petition cannot be entertained and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.

The petitioner is, however, at liberty to pursue the pending representation before the respondent no.3-the Deputy Commissioner, Bokaro.
