This Criminal Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in F.I.R.No.22 of 2025 of Konaraopet Police Station, Rajanna Sircilla District, wherein the petitioners were arrayed as accused Nos.1 to 5 for the offences punishable under Section 35(3) of the Water, Land and Trees Act, 2002.

Heard Mr.Ramanjaneyulu, learned counsel representing Mr.T.Surya Satish, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.V.Jithender Rao, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondents.

During the course of hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, basing upon the written instructions furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Konaraopet Police Station, Rajanna Sircilla District, submits that the Investigating Officer after conducting investigation filed the final report before the learned II Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Sircilla on 18.02.2025, and the C.C. number is awaited. He has placed a copy of the written instructions and the final report on record.

Taking into consideration the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the learned II Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate, Sircilla, is directed to take appropriate steps pursuant to the final report filed by the Investigating Officer in F.I.R.No.22 of 2025 dated 18.02.2025 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event the learned Magistrate takes cognizance against the petitioners in F.I.R.No.22 of 2025, the petitioners are granted liberty to avail the remedies as available under law by raising all the grounds including the grounds which are pleaded in the present Criminal Petition.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
