Judgment
Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking the following relief:-
"a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent nos. 1 to 4 to provide appropriate protection within the premises of the FL 5D Foreign Liquor Shop situated at Pauri, District Pauri Garhwal and further the life and liberty of the petitioner, his Manager, Agents and Servants of the petitioner be protected within the premises of the FL 5D Foreign Liquor Shop at Pauri."
Today, when the matter was taken up, learned Additional Advocate General submits that necessary protection was provided to the petitioner and the shop is running smoothly. He further submits that licence to run the shop is upto 31st May, 2017 and, till then, necessary protection will be provided to the petitioner. He further submits that cases have already been registered against the persons who have taken law in their hands.
Recording the submissions of learned Additional Advocate General, we close the writ petition.
