The above writ petition is filed with the following prayers:

i. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the 2nd respondent to include the name of the petitioner in the final category list marked as Exhibit P8.

ii. To Declare that notification dated 06.08.2023 marked as Exhibit P6 to the extend it states “the reservation claims of those candidates who have not cleared the defects in nativity as Kerala have been cancelled” as arbitrary, unconstitutional, ultra vires the constitution and is in violation part III of the Constitution of India.

iii. To dispense with the filing of English translation of documents marked in vernacular language.

iv. Grant such other relief deemed fit to this Honourable Court

The main prayer in this writ petition is to issue direction to the 2nd respondent to include the name of the petitioner in the final category list marked as Ext.P8 and declare that the notification dated 06.08.2023 marked as Ext.P6 to the extent it states ‘the reservation claims of those candidates who have not cleared the defects in nativity as Kerala have been cancelled’ is arbitrary and unconstitutional.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

After hearing the counsel for the petitioner for some time, I think this writ petition can be disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider Ext.P12 within a short period.

Therefore this writ petition is disposed of with the following directions:

(i) The 2nd respondent is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders in Ext.P12 within 3 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

(ii) The petitioner will produce a certified copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ petition before the 2nd respondent for compliance.

Issue a copy of the judgment today itself.
