This matter in view of interim order passed by the Court on 09.09.2021, staying the operation of order passed by the Tribunal in TA No. 62/5610/2020 with further direction to Public Service Commission not to finalize the selection in question against the post of Range Officer, needs to be consider for further orders.

Learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of respondents are insisting for early consideration of the matter and genuinely so, but the difficulty is that Mr Shah Faisal, learned appearing counsel for the petitioners submits that the matter is to be argued by Mr Salman Khursheed, learned senior counsel. He further submits that the petitioners have not informed the arguing counsel may be under the impression that some application is filed, for which applicants/petitioners need some time to file the objections. Though the application is filed by Respondent No. 4, seeking modification of order but in view of submissions made by learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of respondents, we are not inclined to consider any application but will pass order in the main case.

Mr Shah Faisal, learned appearing counsel for the petitioners seeks short adjournment in order to enable the petitioners to engage senior counsel for facilitating arguments.

In view of the above, list this matter for arguments on Monday the 27th December 2021 higher up, on which date, the petitioners shall ensure presence of senior counsel.
