2.

This Court, as per Ext.P5 judgment, directed the 4th respondent to consider the request for granting reservation for sports persons in Government Medical College, Palakkad within three weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of that judgment. Now it is submitted that the second phase of allotment is to be commenced on 18.08.2023. The petitioner is Rank No.8 in the rank list is the submission. Pointing out these aspects, the petitioner filed Ext.P6 representation before the 4th respondent. It is the submission of the petitioner that if the allotment is made to all the 13 seats allotted to the State quota in the Government Medical College, Palakkad prior to a decision taken by the 4th respondent, serious prejudice will be caused to the petitioner. Hence this writ petition.

3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

4.

After hearing both sides, I think this writ petition itself can be disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider Ext.P6 within a time frame.

Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:

1.

The 4th respondent is directed to consider and pass appropriate orders in Ext.P6, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within one week from the date of receipt of a stamped certified copy of this judgment.

2.

The petitioner will produce a stamped certified copy of this judgment along with a copy of this writ petition before the 4th respondent for compliance.
