Per: Dr. Lata Baswaraj Patne, Judicial Member.

This matter is taken up by the Single Bench for disposal in accordance with the order of the Hon’ble Chairman, CAT dated 10/09/2021 issued under Sub-Section (6) of Section 5 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985, and since no complicated question of law is involved.

The applicant has approached this Tribunal under Section 19 of the Administrative Tribunals Act 1985, praying for the following relief(s):-

“1. An order be passed directing the respondent authorities concerned to forthwith to cancel the request of Inter Divisional Mutual Transfer bearing No. MT- 00045274.

2.

An order be passed directing the respondent authorities concerned to forthwith consider the representation of the application dated 20.01.2026.

3. Any other relief and/or reliefs as the Hon’ble Tribunal deems fit and proper”.

Ld. Counsel for both sides are present and heard.

Mr. M.F. Rahaman, Ld. Counsel for the applicant, appears through virtual mode. He undertakes to file the affidavit of service before the Registry during the course of the day.

Mr. D.C. Singh, Ld. Counsel for the respondents, appears through virtual mode. He undertakes to file the memo of appearance before the Registry during the course of the day.

When the matter was taken up for admission, Ld. Counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant had submitted his request for cancellation of mutual transfer on 20.01.2026 against which he had received the reply from the Department dated 25.02.2026, directing the applicant to submit his cancellation appeal through HRMS for further course of action. However, he was unable to upload the appeal. Therefore, Ld. Counsel for the applicant seeks permission to submit the said appeal through speed post addressed to the competent authority among the respondents.

Considering the submissions made by Ld. Counsel for the applicant, the applicant is at liberty to submit his request for cancellation of his mutual transfer within a period of 04 weeks by speed post to the competent authority among the respondents. The respondents are directed to consider the same and pass a reasoned and speaking order within a period of 02 months’ thereafter.

With these directions, the Original Application is disposed of at admission stage without any order as to costs.
