1.

Prayer in the writ petition is as follows:-

A writ in the nature of Mandamus/Prohibition be issued in favour of the Petitioner and against the Respondents directing them not to harass the

Petitioner without following due procedure of law.

2.

By the nature of relief sought in the writ petition, petition is admitted and taken up for final disposal.

3.

Petitioner is working as Assistant Accounts officer in Public Health Engineering Department at Qazigund. According to the petitioner he is being

unnecessarily harassed since 2010 by the respondents without any reason. That the respondents are contemplating to discharge him from service.

Petitioner states that he made several representations to the authorities to stop such harassment. One such representation is annexure-A.

4.

It appears that there is also some difficulty with regard to the documents submitted by the petitioner in support of his employment. All this has

jumbled up together and has caused the petitioner to file the writ petition for the mandamus that he should not be harassed.

5.

Mr. Asif Bhat, learned AAG appearing for respondents 1 to 5 and Mrs. Mokhsha Kazmi, learned AAG appearing for respondents 6 and 7, on

instructions submitted that in no circumstances the petitioner will be harassed. However, if the respondents propose to take any action it will be

taken only by adopting due procedure of law. Therefore, the apprehension by the petitioner is ill founded. As rightly pointed out by Mr. M.Ayoub

Bhat, learned counsel, if any action is proposed against the petitioner, he shall be given opportunity and right of hearing so as to indicate his

grievance before the authority.

6.

Accordingly the writ petition is disposed of. Interim direction, if any issued, is also vacated.
