Mr. Alla UD Din Ganai, learned counsel for the applicant, and Mr. Hakim Aman Ali, learned counsel for the respondents are present.

Learned counsel for the applicant states that the applicant is aggrieved of the impugned order dated 24.09.2021 as per which his period of suspension from 26.05.2015 to 02.05.2018 has been settled as leave due to him and not as on duty, although he had been exonerated and acquitted of the charges against him. He further states that the applicant has since retired from service and is suffering a monetary loss because of this period being treated as leave due instead of duty.

Learned counsel for the applicant thereafter submits that he would be satisfied if a direction is given to the respondents to consider the contents of this O.A. and pass a speaking order within a time frame.

Learned counsel for the respondents is also present.

In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the applicant, the respondents are hereby directed to consider the averments made in this O.A. as a representation of the applicant and dispose of the same by passing a Reasoned and Speaking order within four weeks from today. A copy of the speaking order so passed be given to the applicant.

O.A./454/2022 is disposed of accordingly.

It is made clear that I have not entered into the merits of this case.

No order as to costs.
