Judgment

Present Civil Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 06.01.1998 issued by respondent No. 4 vide which the petitioner has been ordered to stand compulsory retired from service.
Learned State counsel has submitted that the present matter pertains to the year 1998 and the present petition, in all probability, has been rendered infructuous.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that inspite of the best efforts, he has not been able to get in touch with the petitioner and hence, he prays that the present petition may be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
In view of the above facts and circumstances, present petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous at this stage with liberty to the petitioner to move an application for revival of the present case, in case, any cause of action survives in the same.
