Judgment
Both the appeals are against a common order and are being taken up today.
Since the certified copy has now been made available to the appellants, the same shall be filed in the registry within a week from today.
The only question which arises for consideration as to whether the penalties imposed by the respondent in the impugned order is justified in the facts and circumstances of the case. Let a reply be filed within three weeks from today. The matter would be taken up for admission again on December 13, 2022.
In the meanwhile, the respondent may also intimate as to whether the pension account of the appellants has also been frozen or not. If it has been frozen, it shall be released immediately and report to that effect will be given on the next date.
This order will be digitally signed by the Private Secretary on behalf of the bench and all concerned parties are directed to act on the digitally signed copy of this order. Certified copy of this order is also available from the Registry on payment of usual charges.
