This is an assigned matter by an order dated 20th September 2014 passed on the administrative side by Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice, High

Court of Jharkhand.

The original petitioner (since deceased) approached this Court with multiple prayers.

During pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner died on 27th March 2021 and she was substituted by her surviving legal heirs by an order dated

10th September 2021.

The claims made in paragraph no.1 of the writ petition disclose that majority of the claims relates to post retiral benefits accrued to the petitioner.

It is admitted at Bar that all dues of the original petitioner pertaining to post retiral benefits have been paid to the petitioner/her legal heirs.

Mr. Rupesh Singh, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the claims at paragraph nos. 1(a), 1(b), 1(c), 1(d) and 1(i) have yet not been

addressed to by the respondent-authority.

Mrs. Nitu Singh, the learned counsel for the respondent-Sidhu Kanhu Murmu University raises an objection to the aforesaid prayers which primarily

relate to some claim of the petitioner accruing as far back as in the year 1986.

I accept the objection of the learned counsel for the respondent-Sidhu Kanhu Murmu University and, accordingly, dispose of this writ petition

holding that the aforesaid prayers are not maintainable as having been rendered stale â€" these are money claims.
