Ahanthem Bimol Singh, J

Heard Mr. Sh. Athoi Singh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr. Niranjan Sanasam, learned GA appearing for the respondents and Mr. A. Deni Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the respondents No. 3 and 4.

At the outset, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners will be satisfied for the time being if the present writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No. 2 i.e., the Deputy Commissioner, Kakching, to consider the representation dated 12-09-2022 submitted by the petitioners and other persons on its own merit and strictly in terms of the applicable act and rules and to pass an appropriate order as deem fit and proper within a stipulated period.

Mr. Niranjan Sanasm, learned GA and Mr. A. Deni Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that as the prayer of the petitioners is confined only to the consideration and disposal of the representation submitted by the petitioners, they have no objection in disposing of the present writ petition as prayed for by the counsel appearing for the petitioners.

In view of the submission made by the counsel appearing for the parties, the Deputy Commissioner, Kakching is hereby directed to consider the aforesaid representation dated 12-09-2022 submitted by the petitioners on its own merit and strictly in terms of the applicable act and rules and to dispose of the same by passing an appropriate order as deem fit and proper. The whole process should be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition is disposed of.
