Judgment

The present Application has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (in short, “Sanhita,2023”) for quashing the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.2309 of 2014, “State Vs. Yogender Singh Maurya”, pending before the court of Ist Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, Section 3 and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.
Mr. Ramji Shrivastava, learned counsel for the applicant, Mr. Akshay Latwal, learned Assistant Government Advocate for the respondent no.1 and Ms. Divya Jain, learned counsel for the respondent no.2-informant.
The proceedings of the said Criminal Case No.2309 of 2014, “State Vs. Yogender Singh Maurya” have already been set aside by the coordinate Bench of this Court on 11.10.2017 in C482 No.1247 of 2014.
On the request of learned counsel for the parties, the present Application (No.1619 of 2025), filed under Section 528 of the Sanhita, 2023, is disposed of accordingly.
