Today, learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn the attention of the Tribunal to the written submission filed on behalf of the UOI only yesterday.

The written submissions are of five pages only but there are 11 documents annexed as annexures to the submissions. It is noted that the annexures

are not judgments of Courts or Tribunal, reported or otherwise. Hence, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for some time to seek instructions with

regard to those documents. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the documents annexed are either the correspondences between the

parties or relevant policy decisions of the UOI and therefore, these may be kept under consideration. He does not object to grant of time for seeking

instructions. As prayed, four weeks' time is granted for instructions and for filing written notes. If required, for appropriately dealing with the

documents annexed with the written notes, petitioner may also file additional affidavit.

Post the matter under the same head on 21.2.2022 for further hearing.Â
