Judgment

Heard learned AAG, Mr. N. D. Chullai, who has submitted that the case diary would show that the involvement of the petitioner herein is very remote and as such, he may be allowed to be enlarged on bail in the event of his arrest. On consideration of the submission made and without going into the merits of this case, suffice it to say that the submission of the learned AAG at the bar would carry weight as regard this matter.
Accordingly, this petition is allowed.
In the event of his arrest, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on condition that:
i. He shall not abscond or tamper with the evidence or witnesses.
ii. He shall appear before the I/O as and when required.
iii. He shall not leave the jurisdiction of the State of Meghalaya, without the prior permission of the I/O or the Court concerned.
iv. He shall produce a personal bond of ₹. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand) only along with two sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of the Court.
In the meantime, bail granted is hereby made absolute.
Application is accordingly disposed of.
