Kurian Joseph, C.J.—Petitioner has filed this writ petition with the following prayer:

(a) Director may kindly be issued to the respondents by issuance of a writ of mandamus to decide the representations made by the petitioners in accordance with law and to get the demarcation of the land, as per dimensions/measurements mentioned in field book at the time of acquisition of land in respect of khasra No. 986/1, situate in village Bharolian Khurd, Tehsil and District Una, as per old alignment and also the area, which is being acquired for the widening of the road, so that the compensation in respect of additional area be ordered to be acquired under the Land Acquisition Act and the payment thereof be ordered to be paid to the petitioners in accordance with law alongwith interest etc. etc.

The petitioner has filed Annexures P-3 and P-5, representations, and those are pending before the second respondent. There will be a direction to the second respondent to look into the same and take appropriation action in the matter, with notice to the petitioners. This shall be done within three months on production of copy of this judgment alongwith the copy of the writ petition by the petitioners. However, it is made clear that dispossession shall only be as per awards passed in the cases under the Land Acquisition Act.

The writ petition stands disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
