Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.303, dated 29.05.2023, under Sections 386/387 of IPC, 1860, registered at Police Station City Tohana, District Fatehabad.
Allegations are that on 28.05.2023, the petitioner called from his mobile to the complainant and threatened him to pay Rs.1,00,000/- as extortion, if he wants to run contract, otherwise he would be killed. It was further alleged that earlier also the petitioner had come to his office along with his accomplices and had taken Rs.10,00,000/- at pistol point, after threatening him. Besides this, on 26.05.2023, the petitioner along with 7-8 unknown persons had come to his office and had taken Rs.20,000/- from him after threatening and one of them was having a pistol at that time.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Randhir Singh, Addl. A.G., Haryana appears and accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State.
Mr. Munish Kumar Garg, Advocate with Mr. Vikas Mehra, Advocate appeared and filed power of attorney on behalf of the complainant today in the Court and the same is taken on record.
Learned State counsel has strongly opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Having heard both the sides, this Court is of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant the concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioner having regard to the nature of allegations.
Accordingly, the present petition stands dismissed.
