K.M. Joseph, J.—Petitioner alleges illegal detention of the alleged detenue, Ms. Rubeena Nalakathu by respondents 3 and 4. Third respondent is the father of the alleged detenue and fourth respondent is a relative of her. We already passed an interim order on 27.2.2012, wherein we had noted that the alleged detenue would say that she is in love with the petitioner. By order dated 1.3.2012, we had noted the submission of the petitioner that notice will be given by registered post under the Special Marriage Act.

Today when the matter came up, learned Government Pleader would point out that the alleged detenue can be housed in the Y.W.C.A. Hostel, Kollam. Learned counsel for the petitioner would also submit that the petitioner has no objection for the same.

In such circumstances, we direct that the alleged detenue will reside in the Y.W.C.A Hostel, Kollam from today itself. We record the submission of the learned Government Pleader that this fact will be verified. The alleged detenue will continue to reside in the said hostel till 3.4.2012 and on 3.4.2012 she is free to go and get the marriage registered under the Special Marriage Act. The Writ Petition is closed.
