Bakhshish Kaur, J.—The petitioners, who are working as Compositors have passed the requisite test, which is required to be passed by them in order to be promoted as Computers as per Annexure P.1. This condition of passing the test was withdrawn later on. It is contended that in spite of their passing the requisite test, their case for promotion to the post of Computers has not been considered. Vide order Annexure P.2 Vinod Kumar, Ram Phal, Siri Krishan and Joginder Singh-petitioners were appointed against the post of Computers but no benefit of the post of Computer was to be given to petitioners and they continued to draw the pay scale of compositors.

2.

I have heard Mr. R.P. Bali, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Geeta Mathuria, Learned Assistant Assisfant Advocate General, Haryana.

3.

Ms. Mathuria contends that there is circular to hold test for filling the post of Computers and in case the required number of posts are not available io absorb all candidates who have passed the test, the remaining candidates are kept in the waiting list, which list expires after six months.

4.

Since the petitioners had passed the test once and vide order Annexure P.8, the requirement to pass the was withdrawn, in my view, the ends of justice would amply (be amply served ?) if the petitioners'' case is considered for promotion.

5.

This petition is, therefore, disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the peti- tioners for promotion within a period of two months. In case the competent authorities come to the conclusion that the petitioners are not entitled to the relief claimed, then they should dispose of the case of the petitioners by passing a speaking order supported by reasons and the order should be communicated to the petitioners.

Order accordingly.
