Judgment
Sudhanshu Dhulia, J.—Heard Mr. Ajay Veer Pundir, Advocate for the Petitioner and Mr. Anil Kumar Bisht, Brief Holder for the State of Uttarakhand/Respondents.
The Petitioners are primary school teachers. They apprehend that certain promotions are going to take place from Assistant Teachers, Primary Schools to Assistant Teacher Junior High Schools. Averments to this effect have been stated in paragraph 5 of the writ petition, which reads as under:
That the Petitioners came to know by reliable sources that the Respondents are going to start promotion process in accordance to U.P. Govt. Servant Seniority Rules, 1994 Amended Rules 3 (7).
Without going into the merits of the case, since presently there is only an apprehension of the Petitioners that some promotion exercise is going to be carried out, no interference is called for by this Court at this stage inasmuch as no promotions have taken place as yet. Moreover, the Petitioners have not given any particulars as to on what date the promotions are going to take place.
The writ petition is entirely premature as of now and is therefore dismissed.
No order as to costs.
