Heard the learned counsel for the respective parties. It is not in dispute that the issue involved in these writ petitions is similar to the issue, which was considered by this Court in W.P.No. 42697-765/2011.This Court while disposing of the said writ petitions on 07.02.2012 has held as follows: 4. The claim of petitioners is also based on a statute issued by the University on 25.07.2011. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if they are directed to consider the petitioners'' representation at Annexures- H and H1 in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible keeping in view the statute of the University dated 25.07.2011. It is open to the petitioners to give fresh representations with supporting documents and also the copy of the statute of the University dated 25.07.2011
Accordingly these writ petitions are hereby dispose of Three weeks time is granted to file memo of appearance
In that view, the petitioners herein are also entitled to the similar benefit. Therefore the petitions are disposed off in similar terms permitting the petitioners to give fresh representations with supporting documents and also the statute of University dated 28.07.2011, which shall be considered as indicated above. 2. Learned counsel for respondents are granted four weeks to file their memo of appearance/Vakalath.
