1.

The petitioner is OBC (Female) and was very keen to

participate in the process which has been initiated by the

respondents holding selection for the post of Teacher Gr.III vide

advertisement dt.06.07.2016.

2.

It is relevant to note that immediately after the

advertisement came to be uploaded, applications were invited on-

line by the applicants who intend to participate in the selection

process from 11.07.2016 and as per the condition Nos. 2 & 9 of

the advertisement only on-line application forms will be accepted

with a further indication referred to that the last date for

submission of application form on-line was 01.08.2016. It will be

relevant to quote the relevant conditions, which read ad infra:-

VERNACULAR MATTER OMITTED

3.

Indisputably, the petitioner failed to fill her application form

on-line within the stipulated period indicated by the respondents

in terms of the advertisement.

4.

The grievance of the petitioner is that she is OBC (Female)

and was under the state of confusion how the on-line application

is to be filled in terms of the advertisement and at a later stage, it

came to her knowledge that off-line application are being

permitted to be filled by the respondents pursuant to the

advertisement and that compelled her to approach this court by

filing the instant writ petition.

5.

The submission of the petitioner is wholly bereft of merit for

the reason that in terms of the relevant conditions of the

advertisement, of which reference has been made supra, it was

mandated to every candidate, who intends to participate, to fill his

application on-line from 11.07.2016 and the last date for

submission of on-line application was 01.08.2016 and a fair

opportunity was available to the applicant/petitioner to fill her

application on-line in terms of the advertisement and any

confusion as alleged is of no consequence and if the petitioner has

failed to fill her application on-line on or before the last date of

submission, no further indulgence can be extended to the

petitioner to fill her application off-line, as prayed for.

6.

Consequently, the instant writ petition being devoid of merit,

accordingly stands dismissed.
