Judgment
Sandeep Sharma, J
Mr. M.A.Khan, learned Senior Counsel representing the petitioners, on instructions, states that case of the petitioners is squarely covered with the
judgment dated 29.6.2004, passed by erstwhile Himachal Pradesh Administrative Tribunal in OA No.2303/2003, titled Vikram Chand Katoch and
others versus State of Himachal Pradesh and judgment dated 24.7.2010 passed by this Court in CWP(T) No.14614 of 2008 and as such, necessary
directions may be issued to the authority concerned for considering the case of the petitioners in the light of the aforesaid judgments.
Mr. Sanjeev Sood, learned Additional Advocate General fairly states that he has no objection to aforesaid prayer made by learned counsel
representing the petitioners.
Consequently, in view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners in
the light of the aforesaid judgments and if they are found to be similarly situate, similar benefit may be granted to them within a period of four weeks
from today. Liberty is reserved to the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceedings in the competent Court of law, if they still remain aggrieved.
Pending applications, if any, also stands disposed of.
