Judgment
Justice Kurian Joseph, C.J.—The petitioner is filed with the following prayer:-
(a) That the proposed action of the respondent University of terminating his services may very kindly be quashed and set aside.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Solicitor General of India. Learned Assistant Solicitor General of India submits that the petitioner had already been directed to produce the proof of change of his name for maintaining the record properly in the University. The petitioner submits that he has already taken steps for getting the name changed by publishing it in the Newspaper and further follow up action is to be taken for correction of the change of name in the record. The petitioner may take such steps within a period of six months from today and before expiry of the said period, the petitioner shall produce the proof regarding the correction of change of name in the University. In case the petitioner does not take steps as above, it will be open to the University to take further action in accordance with law.
The writ petition is disposed of, so also the pending applications, if any.
