These two petitions arise out of the same crime number, hence, they are taken up together for disposal.

These petitions are filed seeking bail in Crime No.111/2011 of Megadi police station registered on 22/23.09.2011 for the offences punishable U/s. 143, 144, 147, 148, 427, 353, 504, 307 r/w Sec 149 of IPC.

It is the case of the complainant, who is Head constable of Magadi Police station that, on 22.09.2011 at about 11.50 p.m., when he was the Station House Officer of Magadi police station, some crackers were burnt in front of the police station and when they went to ask, as to why crackers were burnt, a group of persons numbering 8 to 9 attempted to throw stones and obstructed him from performing his duties and damaged government jeep bearing Registration No. KA-04-G-183, parked outside the police station and also pelted stones on the police persors. The police went inside the police station and locked the door, Thereafter, 108 ambulance came. One Vasentha driving his lnnova car dashed the compound wall of the police station and caused damaged the wall and vehicle. Police had arrested one Karthik, who was invoived in two other crimes and he was remanded to judicial custody and in order to take revenge against the police, the said incident is alleged to have taken place.

Heard Sri. N.Nandan, learned counsel for the petitioner in Crl.P.6064/2011 and Sri. Murari Mouni, learned counsel for the petitioner in Crl.P.6034/2011 and Sri. Vijaykumar Majage, learned HCGP for the State/Respondent.

Having regard to the nature of the offence, I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the petitions are allowed. The petitioners are directed to be released on bail on each of them executing a personal bond for Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) with one aurety for the likesum to the satisfaction of the Court below.
