Judgment
Contends INTER ALIA that after the petitioner was reinstated in service, and the benefit of continuity was granted to him without backwages, the
admissible annual increments on his salary for the relevant period were not granted by the respondent-Authorities, even though he was entitled to such
increments in view of the fact that his restoration in service was for all purposes at par with any other employee except for payment of backwages.
He is now aggrieved that the respondents have failed to redress his grievance inspite of his having submitted a specific representation for that purpose
a long time ago.
Without commenting on the merits of the petitioner's contentions, the matter is disposed off at this stage with a direction upon respondent No.2 to pass
a speaking order on the petitioner's representation dated 19th February, 2018 (Annexure P-5) within two months from the date of communication of
this order, and in case the petitioner is found entitled to pensionary or any other dues, the same be thereafter disbursed to him within two months.
