Heard.
An innocuous prayer has been made by petitioner to direct the Court below to expedite the proceedings of civil revision pending before it.
According to learned counsel for petitioner, petitioner came to know about pendency of appeal being RM No.1285 of 2017 (Anil Kr. Garg v. Vandana Sundara) in the month of October, 2019. After obtaining documents, it was revealed the respondent has purchased land by way of three sale deeds and has filed O.S. No.351 of 2009 (Anil Kr. Garg v. Vandana Sundara) showing it as a disputed land. The said suit was proceeded ex parte against the respondent by judgment dated 26.04.2022. Against the said order, a civil revision was preferred which is pending.
Having considered the facts of the case and also keeping in mind the age of petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Sixth Additional District & Sessions Judge, Dehradun to conclude and decide the proceedings of Civil Revision No.23 of 2023 (Vandana Sundara v. Anil Kumar and others) as early as possible preferably within one year from the date of production of a certified copy of this judgment.
Pending application, if any, stands disposed of.
